Where and when does the Salon de la restauration 2026 take place?

The show will be held on September 29, 2026 at the Centrexpo Promutuel Assurance in Drummondville, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The virtual purchasing platform will also be accessible from September 25 at 10 a.m. until October 4 at 5 p.m.

If the event takes place on-site, what is the virtual platform for?

The site www.salonrestauration.com is our official transactional platform. Each of the more than 150 exhibitors has a virtual booth there. This is the tool that will let you place your orders online, both on the day of the in-person event and during the two weeks the platform is open. No paper order forms will be used on-site.

My representative has already registered me, what do I still need to do?
  1. As the event approaches, you'll receive an activation email to access your client profile.
  2. A second email will send you all the logistical details of your participation.
  3. On the day itself, check in on-site in Drummondville to experience the in-person shopping experience, or simply log in to the virtual platform.
I want to take part, but I'm not yet a Colabor client. What should I do?

You're welcome to join! Simply fill out the registration form on the [Visitors] page, or write to us directly at conciergerie@colabor.com. A member of our team will contact you promptly.

How can I chat with a supplier-exhibitor on the platform?

It's quick and easy. Directly in the chosen supplier's virtual booth, click the representative's chat icon. The booth's representative will reply to you.

Will I be able to follow my purchase reports in real time?

Suppliers and exhibitors

The virtual ordering platform will be accessible from September 25 at 10 a.m. until October 4 at 5 p.m.

How can we reserve our booth space in Drummondville?

Current Colabor suppliers can reserve their space directly with their category manager. If you are a new food supplier or a business offering services related to restaurateurs and would like to join our event, please fill out the registration form on the [Exhibit] page.

If the event takes place in person, what is the virtual platform for?

The site www.salonrestauration.com is our exclusive transactional platform. It lets clients and distributors place all their orders online, both during the on-site event and during the two weeks the virtual platform is open. No paper order forms will be used.

Who is the target audience of the Salon de la restauration?
  • All Colabor Food Services professional clients, from every market segment and every region of Quebec.
  • Non-clients and industry operators curious to discover Colabor's offering and distribution network.
What are the benefits for a supplier or exhibitor to take part?
  • Hybrid visibility: Meet clients in person and stay accessible online via chat, video call, or phone.
  • Enriched showcase: Add promotional material and videos directly to your virtual booth, in addition to your physical space.
  • Business development: Expand your base of potential clients and gather new information requests.
  • Optimized client follow-up: Run targeted follow-ups and easily manage sample shipments.
How are visitors invited to the show?

A large-scale communication plan is deployed across the entire industry:

  • Digital campaigns and targeted posts on social media.
  • Official invitations delivered in person by Colabor representatives and followed up directly by email.
  • Strategic reminders in the weeks leading up to the event.
How can suppliers follow up with clients?

Online exchanges happen via the communication icons on the platform.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan for enough representatives (supplier or broker) to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Clearly indicate your availability and manage your appointments. Responding immediately to requests maximizes the client experience and boosts your sales.
Can we generate a real-time order report during the event?

Yes. You have a clickable link to follow your sales results at any time. When the platform closes, a confirmation of total sales will be sent to you. You'll be able to validate everything with your category manager.

What are the expectations regarding client participation rates?

We expect increased participation thanks to the hybrid format. The physical gathering point in Drummondville is ideal for sealing business opportunities. For clients in more remote regions, the virtual platform lets them order easily without travelling.

What is the exact duration of the show for clients?

Buyers will be able to place their orders from September 25 at 10 a.m. until October 4 at 5 p.m.

Is it up to the supplier to handle clients' advertising or sample requests?

Yes. Clients can submit these requests directly from the platform. It is entirely up to the supplier or their broker to follow up on and deliver the samples.

What products should we feature in our booth?

You select the products you want to highlight for the season. The only condition is that these products must already be listed with Colabor and approved by your category manager.

Will we be able to see a demonstration of the platform before the event?

Yes. Exhibitors will receive documentation covering the use of the ordering platform. This presentation will provide a complete overview of the system, the client experience, and will guide you through setting up your manufacturer profile. It will be sent to you as soon as it's ready.

Will there be technical support for exhibitors during the show?

Absolutely. In case of a technical issue or a question about using the platform, our team is reachable at any time at: conciergerie@colabor.com or via the "Help" icon at the bottom of the screen.

As a supplier, will I have access to other exhibitors' pages and order forms?

No. To respect the confidentiality and integrity of each business, your competitors' management spaces and sales reports remain strictly private.

If we have several representatives for the same supplier, is the sales report individualized?

No, the digital sales report is centralized and generated globally for the company's entire booth.

Who should I contact if I have other questions about the show?

For any commercial, strategic, or logistical question, contact your category manager at Colabor directly.
